your guess is a lot more fun than the prosaic truth: human shoe, great blue heron, and those many-toed ones might be raccoon, but don't quote me. the long curving swoops on the left that look like freddy kruger was here were made by sea oats blowing in the wind.
i'm glad you're letting us all back in to read piercepenniless again. i don't drop in often, and seldom comment, but i was going through withdrawal there for a while.
